When it comes to buying a performance-centric smartphone, battery life and charging speeds are two critical factors. To help you make a well-informed decision, our core testing team put four popular smartphones, the POCO F7, iQOO Neo 10, Realme GT 7T, and Motorola Edge 60 Pro, through rigorous in-house testing. All the results and insights shared below are based on real-world usage simulations and standardised benchmarks conducted by our team. Here are the results
Battery Capacity and Charging Tech – On Paper
Here’s how these four stack up in terms of raw battery specs and charging capabilities:
Charging Time: 0 to 100% in Real-World Testing
Winner: Motorola Edge 60 Pro
We conducted timed charging tests using the inbox chargers, starting from 0% with Airplane Mode enabled and the screen off. Here’s how fast each phone got to full charge:
iQOO Neo 10 is leading the pack with the fastest full charge. However, both the Motorola Edge 60 Pro and Realme GT 7T also performed admirably, hitting full charge in under an hour. The POCO F7, while offering the largest battery at 7550mAh, took noticeably longer, 1 hour and 30 minutes, to reach 100%.
Battery Life: PCMark Work 3.0 Benchmark Results
Winner: iQOO Neo 10
To test endurance, we used the PCMark Work 3.0 battery test, designed to simulate real-world productivity tasks like document editing, web browsing, and data manipulation.

iQOO Neo 10 takes the lead with over 23 hours of simulated usage, making it the longest-lasting device in our test group. Realme GT 7T isn’t too far behind either, clocking over 19 hours. POCO F7, despite its large battery, manages close to 18 hours. Motorola Edge 60 Pro, while the fastest to charge, shows the weakest stamina with under 9 hours, indicating a clear trade-off between capacity and charging speed.
Our Takeaways
iQOO Neo 10: Fast, Reliable, and Built to Last
Realme GT 7T: A Powerhouse That Stays Cool Under Pressure
POCO F7: Big Battery, Longer Wait
Motorola Edge 60 Pro: Speedy Top-Up, Shorter Shelf Life
Final Verdict
If battery longevity is your top priority, the iQOO Neo 10 is a clear winner. It blends fast 120W charging with excellent real-world endurance. The Realme GT 7T comes across as a very close second and might appeal to those who prefer Realme’s software experience and design language.
The POCO F7 boasts the largest battery on paper, but that doesn’t necessarily translate to top-tier endurance, although it’s still respectable. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is best suited for users who prefer quicker top-ups and are willing to carry a power bank during the day.
All data mentioned here is from our internal testing, carried out under controlled environments. We’ll continue to monitor how these phones perform over long-term usage, but for now, this should help you make a more informed decision.
