Akai India just launched its new range of Digital Wash top-load fully automatic washing machines in India. The latest lineup includes models with Deep Clean Technology, built-in heaters, inverter motors, and is available in multiple capacities targeting a wide range of household sizes.

These new washing machines come in 7.5kg, 8kg, 9kg, 10kg, and 12kg variants. According to the company, the range is designed to address common Indian usage conditions, including fluctuating water pressure and frequent wash cycles. In addition to this, all the models come with an anti-bacterial drum coating and support multiple wash programs.

You get features like Magic Filter, waterfall washing, memory function, quick-wash mode, auto-balance control, child lock, soft-closing lids, and low-noise operation with this range. The machines are also equipped with anti-rat protection, auto power-off and restart functions, and are designed to operate efficiently even at low water pressure. Lid options include plastic and glass finishes, with colour variants such as Mid-Black and Inox Grey.

Commenting on the launch, Anurag Sharma, Managing Director and CEO of AKAI India, said that consumer buying behaviour in India is increasingly focused on reliability and long-term ownership rather than feature-heavy specifications. He added that this trend is particularly visible in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, where durability and service access play a significant role in purchase decisions.

Further, Akai has promised that the new Digital Wash range comes with a 10-year warranty on fully automatic wash motors. The company has not disclosed pricing details at the time of launch.
