A couple of upcoming phones from brands like Poco, Vivo, and iQOO have emerged in the database of Europe’s EEC certification platform. As usual, none of the listings have revealed their final monikers, but it seems the Poco device could be the upcoming Poco X8 Pro. Here’s a look at the forthcoming phones approved by the EEC.
Purported Poco X8 Pro EEC certified

A recent report by XiaomiTime has revealed that a new Redmi phone with the model number 2511FRT34C has surfaced in the IMEI database. This device is believed to be the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5, which is expected to be exclusive to the Chinese market. The report also mentions that Poco devices bearing model numbers 2511FPC34G and 2511FPC34I, likely the global and Indian variants of the upcoming Poco X8 Pro, have appeared in the IMEI database as well.
As can be seen in the above screenshot, the alleged Poco X8 Pro’s global version has been certified by the EEC authority. While the X8 Pro is expected to launch by early January 2026, it has already bagged a vital certification.
According to reports, the Poco X8 Pro will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5. Therefore, it is expected to feature a 6.67-inch flat OLED 1.5K screen and a Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. It will have a thin and lightweight build equipped with a metal middle frame. The rest of its specifications are under wraps.
Upcoming Vivo, iQOO phones EEC certified
The above screenshots show that two Vivo phones bearing the V2514 and V2515 model numbers have been approved by the EEC authority. It has also certified an upcoming iQOO phone with model number I2501. At present, there is no information about the final marketing names of these devices.
