Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series of smartwatches has received the MIIT certification in China. The lineup comprises two models, namely the Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic.

To recall, both devices were recently approved by the 3C certification platform in China. With important certifications under their belt, the new flagship watches could be on schedule to launch in July. The same event will also see the arrival of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, Z Flip 7, and Z Fold 7. Here’s a look at the details that have emerged through the CMIIT certification of the Watch 8 series.

  • The above screenshots show that China’s MIIT authority has approved two forthcoming Samsung watches with model numbers SM-L3350 and SM-L5050.
  • According to reports, these will debut in the market as the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic, respectively.
  • These devices were also spotted at the 3C certification with a 10W charger earlier this month.
  • Unfortunately, the CMIIT listings do not have any information about the core specs of the Watch 8 and 8 Classic.

  • The above screenshot shows that the Galaxy Buds Core, which bears the SM-R410 model number, has been approved by the Bluetooth SIG authority.
  • The said name and model numbers were previously spotted at the UAE’s TDRA certification.
  • The official support pages of the Buds Core are now live in India, Russia, Turkey, and the UAE, indicating that its launch is not far away.

As mentioned above, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Watch 8 series along with the new foldables through a dedicated Galaxy Unpacked event in July. It remains to be seen whether the Buds Core debuts earlier or with the new foldables in July.
