Global Poco F7 receives FCC certification, launching soon

In March, Poco unveiled the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra for the global market. These devices came equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The lineup also includes the Poco F7, which is expected to arrive as a rebranded version of China’s Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.

In a new development, the Poco F7, which bears the 25053PC47G model number, has received approval from the FCC authority. This indicates that the device will launch globally soon. Last month, its Indian edition, with model number 25053PC47I, was certified by the country’s BIS authority. These sightings suggest that the Poco F7 may launch soon in the global market and India.

  • As seen above, a Poco phone with the model number 25053PC47G has received FCC certification.
  • When cross-verified with the IMEI database, the model number was confirmed to belong to the Poco F7.
  • The listing confirms that the Poco F7 will support multiple 5G bands, Wi-Fi 802.11ax/be, Bluetooth, and NFC.
  • The device will run HyperOS 2.0, layered over Android 15.

Poco F7 specifications (rumoured)

  • The Poco F7 is expected to feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED LTPS screen that supports a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • The F7 will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
  • It is speculated that the F7’s global version will have a 6,550mAh battery, whereas its Indian variant may pack a larger 7,550mAh battery. Both models are expected to support 90W fast charging.
  • The F7 will feature a 20-megapixel camera for selfies. Its rear shell could be equipped with an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
  • In terms of durability, the F7 could be equipped with a metal middle frame and an IP68/69-rated body.

The Poco F7 may launch either this month or in June. In India, the device is likely to be priced at around Rs 30,000 and is expected to face competition from the iQOO Neo 10.
