Google will unveil the Pixel 10 series later today at 10:30 am IST. Ahead of the launch, the entire Pixel 10 series has emerged on Geekbench, revealing the capabilities of the Tensor G5 chip that powers it. Additionally, the Pixel 10 series as well as the Pixel Watch 4 variants, have also appeared in the database of the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. Here’s a look at the details that have emerged through these listings.

Google Pixel 10 series Geekbench listings

The Geekbench listings of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL reveal that the Tensor G5 comprises a prime CPU core working at 3.78GHz, five cores clocking at 3.05GHz, and two cores operating at 2.25GHz.

While the Pixel 10 has 12GB of RAM, the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL are equipped with 16GB of RAM. All three devices run on the latest Android 16 OS.

As can be seen in the shared screenshots, the Pixel 10 has appeared on both Geekbench 5 and Geekbench 6. On Geekbench 5, the device scored 1656 and 4684 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. On the other hand, it scored 2118 and 4496 points on Geekbench 6’s single and multi-core tests.

The Google Pixel 10 Pro scored 1708 and 4441 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core tests. The Pixel 10 Pro XL has been listed on Geekbench 6 since April, and its most recent listing reveals 2290 single-core and 5559 multi-core points. On Geekbench 5, the device achieved 1665 and 4711 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

What to expect from the Tensor G5?

While the Geekbench listings show a noticeable jump in multi-core performance, it is still not on par with last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. This is not surprising, as Google’s chipsets have traditionally lagged behind Qualcomm’s latest offerings in terms of raw performance.

Google Pixel 10 series, Pixel Watch 4 series Bluetooth SIG certified

The Pixel 10 (model numbers: GLBW0, GK2MP, and GL066), Pixel 10 Pro (model numbers: G4QUR, GN4FS, and GEHN3), and Pixel 10 Pro XL (model numbers: GUL82, GYPW4, and G45RY) have received Bluetooth SIG certification. These variants have been previously spotted on other certification platforms like the FCC and IMDA (Singapore).

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold with model numbers GU0NP and GM66V has also bagged Bluetooth SIG listing. The same regulatory body has also approved the Pixel Watch 4 variantsm such as 41mm (model numbers: GWSQ2 and GHH4K) and 45mm (model numbers: G1KAW and G8AK3).

While the Pixel 10 series is expected to launch today, recent reports have claimed that Google will hold another launch in October this year. This October event is expected to see the arrival of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a TWS earbuds. There is a possibility that all the devices may launch today, but the foldable, smartwatch, and earbuds may hit the market in October. The search engine giant may apply the same strategy for the Indian market.
