Infinix is gearing up to launch the Note 60 series globally. The brand has already rolled out the first teasers of the Note 60 Pro, confirming several of its key specifications along with its design. The company is also expected to unveil the Infinix Note 60 alongside the Pro edition. Ahead of the launch, the vanilla model has appeared on Geekbench, revealing its key details.
Infinix Note 60 Geekbench listing
The Infinix Note 60 has appeared with model number X6879 in the Geekbench 6.5 database. The listing shows that it is powered by a MediaTek chip, which comprises four CPU cores operating at 2.00GHz and four cores working at 2.60GHz, along with Mali-G615 MC2 graphics. This chip seems to be the upcoming Dimensity 7400, which also powers devices like the Redmi Note 15 Pro, Motorola Edge 60, Edge 60 Neo, Razr 60, and iQOO Z10R, to name a few.
The Geekbench listing further reveals that the Note 60 has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 16, which is expected to have Infinix’s XOS 16 on top. It achieved 1055 points in the single-core test and 3097 points in the multi-core test. At present, there is no information about the Note 60’s other specifications.
The Infinix Note 60 Pro, which has already been teased by the brand, features an iPhone 17 Pro-like rear design with a unique touch. What makes it look distinct is that it has a dot-matrix LED display alongside the rear cameras. It remains to be seen whether the standard Note 60 will also have a similar design.
Xpert Take
The Infinix Note 50 lineup from last year did not include a standard Note 50 5G, but the Note 50s 5G was launched instead. This phone came equipped with the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chip. So, the Geekbench listing suggests that the Infinix Note 60 with a Dimensity 7400 will at least offer an upgrade in the chipset department compared to the previous generation.
Over the years, Infinix has developed into a more reliable brand and a strong competitor for smartphones in different price points under Rs 30,000. The Note 60 and 60 Pro are currently being teased for the global market, and it may take some time for these phones to hit India. Reports suggest that the Indian market may soon be treated to the Note Edge, which debuted last month for the global market.
