Oppo unveiled the Oppo K13 5G last month. The device came equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset and a 7,000mAh battery. It appears that the brand is gearing up to launch another K-series phone called the Oppo K13x 5G. The reason behind this is that the said device has appeared in the databases of the Google Play Supported Devices list and India’s BIS certification platform.
These listings suggest that the Oppo K13x will arrive as a successor edition to the K12x, which debuted with the Dimensity 6300 chipset onboard last year. Here is a look at what’s known about the K13x.
Oppo K13x Google Play Supported Device, BIS listings
- As can be seen in the first image above, the Oppo K13x 5G, which bears the model number CPH2753, has appeared in the Google Play Supported Devices database.
- The same device has received approval from the BIS authority in India. This indicates that the device will be heading to the Indian market in the near future.
- Unfortunately, the rumour mill is yet to leak anything significant about the device.
- Hopefully, upcoming reports will reveal more details about the K13x.
Oppo K12x specifications
- To recall, the Oppo K12x featured a 6.67-inch LCD panel with support for HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Under the hood, it featured the Dimensity 6300 chip, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,100mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
- For photography, the K12x came with an 8-megapixel front camera and a 32-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system.
- The device offered other specs, such as a side-facing fingerprint sensor, Panda glass protection, and ColorOS 14-based Android 14.
The Oppo K12x debuted with a starting price of Rs 12,999 in India. Therefore, the K13x may arrive with a sub-Rs 15,000 price tag in the country.
