Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G

Last week, the Oppo Reno 14 5G, bearing the model number CPH2737, received approval from Thailand’s NBTC and the UAE’s TDRA certification platforms. Now, both platforms have also approved the Reno 14 Pro 5G, hinting that the series is gearing up for a global launch.

Last month, Oppo unveiled the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, equipped with the Dimensity 8350 and Dimensity 8450 chipsets, respectively, in China. The Geekbench appearance of the global Reno 14 Pro suggests that the global version of the Reno 14 series may pack the same specs as its Chinese version.

  • The Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G has appeared with model number CPH2739 in the database of the UAE’s TDRA regulatory body.
  • The same device has also been approved by the NBTC authority in Thailand.
  • The Reno 14 Pro has also been certified in other countries like India (BIS), Indonesia (SDPPI), and Singapore (IMDA) in recent weeks.
  • However, these listings do not provide any information about the core specifications of the device.
  • The Geekbench listing of the device confirms that it is powered by the Dimensity 8450 chip, which clocks at 3.25GHz and includes Mali-G720 MC7 GPU.
  • The listing reveals that it has 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 15.
  • It scored 1581 points in the Geekbench’s single-core test and 6206 points in the multi-core test.

Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G specifications

  • The Reno 14 Pro 5G, available in China, features a 6.83-inch flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
  • It ships with the Dimensity 8450 chipset, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
  • The device houses a 6,200mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
  • For selfies, it is equipped with a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support.
  • On the back, it has a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
  • The device also offers other features, such as ColorOS 15-based Android 15, dual speakers, an IR blaster, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Rumours are rife that the Reno 14 series will debut globally in July. At present, there is no information about its pricing for the global market.
