Poco is gearing up to launch the Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max globally. A recent report revealed that Poco inadvertently disclosed the pricing of both smartphones through its official site. This indicates that the X8 series may break cover soon. Ahead of the expected launch, the series is busy bagging new certifications, with the latest being the appearance of the X8 Pro in the database of a South Korean certification platform.
Poco X8 Pro bags Korea RRA certification

The above screengrab shows that a Xiaomi device with model number 2511FPC34G has been approved by the South Korean RRA certification platform. Previously, the same device was spotted at Thailand’s NBTC certification with the Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Edition branding.
Likely, the Poco X8 Pro and its special Iron Man edition share the same 2511FPC34G model number. While it mentions the device’s SAR value as 0.863 / 1.6 W/kg, there is no information about the phone’s core specifications.
Poco X8 Pro: Could be rebranded Redmi Turbo 5
Redmi recently unveiled the Redmi Turbo 5 with a 6.59-inch OLED 1.5K 120Hz display, a Dimensity 8500 chip, and a 7,560mAh battery with 90W charging. It features a 20-megapixel front camera and an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera setup.
While the Redmi Turbo 5 is limited to the Chinese market, it may launch globally under the Poco X8 Pro branding. However, it is speculated that the X8 Pro may pack a smaller 6,500mAh battery. The X8 Pro may arrive with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, with a starting price of 479 euros (~Rs 51,150) in Europe. At present, there is no information about its Indian pricing.
Xpert Take
The Poco X-series has always received a good reception in India, and the same is expected from the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max. Compared to the previous generation, the X8 Pro will have a better chipset, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for flagship-class performance at an affordable price point.
Reports suggest that there’s no standard Poco X8 this year, and the X8 Pro Max could be a rebranded version of the Dimensity 9500s-powered Redmi Turbo 5 Max. Overall, the Poco X8 Pro and Pro Max appear to be very promising.
