Realme Note 80 Moniker Gets Confirmed via SIRIM listing

Realme Note 70

Realme is working on a new entry-level smartphone with model number RMX5388. The device has been gradually receiving certifications in different markets. However, its appearance in the database of the Malaysian SIRIM certification has revealed its final marketing name.

Realme Note 80 SIRIM certified

As mentioned above, the RMX5388 has been previously spotted at certification platforms like EEC (Europe) and TKDN (Indonesia). However, none of these revealed its final moniker. Today, the device appeared in SIRIM’s database under the Realme Note 80 moniker, suggesting that it may be launched in Southeast Asian markets under this name.

The SIRIM listing has not revealed any details about its technical specifications; however, its recent listing at Element Materials Technology has indicated that it may support 15W charging. Hopefully, the upcoming reports will reveal more details about this phone. Considering that the Note 70 from last year was packed with entry-level specs, the Note 80 could also be a modest offering.

Realme C81 4G for India

Leaked information shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav in November 2025 revealed that the RMX5388 phone will have the Realme C81 4G branding in India. It is also rumoured to come in multiple options, such as 8GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB. It will be available in colours, such as Glacier Blue and Storm Black.

Xpert Take

While the Realme Note 80 appears to be a straightforward entry-level 4G smartphone, it may be worth skipping for many buyers. In India, entry-level 5G phones are now widely available in the Rs 10,000 to Rs 13,000 range, offering better long-term network support and overall value, making them a more future-ready choice.
