
Redmi recently confirmed that it will unveil the Redmi 15 5G smartphone on Aug. 19 in India. Apart from this phone, the lineup also includes other models, such as the Redmi 15C 5G, Redmi 15 (4G), and Redmi 15C (4G). Some of these phones are rumoured to launch soon in China. Ahead of the expected launch, the Redmi 15C 5G has received approval from China’s 3C certification platform.

As seen above, a Xiaomi phone with model number 2508CRN2BC has received approval from the 3C authority. Reports have revealed that this model number belongs to the Chinese edition of the Redmi 15C 5G.
The 3C listing reveals that the Redmi 15C 5G may ship with a 33W fast charger. With a major certification under its belt, it appears that the device may launch as early as this month in China.

As per reports, the Redmi 15C 5G will feature a 6.9-inch LCD panel that supports an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is expected to run on HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15.
The 15C 5G is expected to house a Dimensity 6300 chipset and a 6,000mAh battery with 33W charging. It will be available in two configurations, such as 4GB+128GB and 4GB+256GB. The back panel will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, and its front could be equipped with an 8-megapixel snapper.
The Redmi 15C 5G is said to measure 8.2mm and weigh 211 grams. It will be available in green, lavender, and black shades.
