Last week, XpertPick reported that the Redmi 15 5G bearing the model number 25057RN09G had been approved by the FCC. A new development reveals that the brand is also gearing up to launch the Redmi 15C 5G in multiple markets. At the same time, we have also spotted a certification listing for the Poco C85. This phone appears to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 15C.
Redmi 15C, Poco C85 NBTC certified
- As can be seen in the first image, the Redmi 15C and Poco C85 have both received approval from the NBTC certification platform in Thailand.
- The Redmi 15C has the 25078RA3EA model number for Thailand. On the other hand, the C85 has the model number 25078PC3EG.
- Both listings show that these are LTE-enabled phones, meaning they lack support for 5G connectivity.
- Additionally, a Redmi phone with model number 25078RA3EY has received Singapore’s IMDA certification. The similar model number suggests that it could be a Redmi 15C variant meant for the Singaporean market.
- As per a recent report by XiaomiTime, model numbers 25078RA3EL and 25078RA3EE both belong to the Redmi 15C.
- The same publication claims that the model number 25078PC3EE is also associated with the Poco C85. its 25078PC3EG variant has already EEC certification in Europe.
Redmi 15C / Poco C85 specifications
- The Redmi 15C’s 25078RA3EL variant had already appeared in the FCC’s database back in May.
- The FCC listing revealed that the Redmi 15C will feature a 6.9-inch LCD HD+ display with a waterdrop notch.
- It will have a 6,000mAh battery with 33W charging support and will run on HyperOS 2.2-based Android 15.
- At present, there is no concrete information about the Redmi 15C / Poco C85 specifications. The “2507” numbers in their model numbers suggest that these phones may debut later this month.
