
Redmi has been teasing the arrival of a gaming tablet in China. Officially confirmed to launch this month, the device is expected to sport a compact form factor. Ahead of the launch, the Redmi gaming tablet has received approval from the 3C authority in China.
While the official moniker of the tablet has not been confirmed yet, the device is expected to rival other compact gaming tablets like the Lenovo Legion Y700 (Gen 4) and the upcoming Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro in the home market. While the Lenovo and Red Magic offerings are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the Redmi tablet is said to be equipped with the Dimensity 9400 Plus chip.

- As can be seen in the above screenshot, a Xiaomi tablet bearing the model number 25079RPDCC has received approval from China’s 3C authority.
- The listing reveals that the tablet may ship with an MDY-15-EQ charger that supports 67W fast charging.

- As per reports, the Redmi gaming tablet will feature an 8.8-inch LCD panel.
- The device will be powered by the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset and a 7,000mAh+ battery.
- It is expected to come with other features, such as bypass charging, dual speakers, dual USB-C ports, and dual x-axis linear motors.
Redmi is expected to hold a launch event to unveil the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 and Redmi K80 Ultra smartphones in China. The same event is expected to see the arrival of the above-mentioned gaming tablet.
