Redmi appears to be gearing up for the launch of its big-battery smartphone, the K80 Ultra. Today, we spotted the upcoming device on the 3C certification website, bearing the model number 25060RK16C. It will succeed the Redmi K70 Ultra, which was launched in July last year.
According to the 3C certification, the upcoming K80 Ultra will support 120W fast charging. Unfortunately, no other specifications have been revealed. However, judging by the launch timeline of its predecessor, the K80 Ultra could be inching closer to its official debut.
Redmi K80 Ultra Specifications (Rumoured)
This isn’t the first sighting of Redmi’s upcoming smartphone. A few days ago, we spotted the device on the MIIT certification site in China, featuring the same model number. The source code of the listing reveals that the device will house a massive 7,270mAh (rated) battery, which suggests the typical value could be around 7,500mAh.
Furthermore, the K80 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. In addition, the device is likely to sport a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor.
Unfortunately, the forthcoming K80 Ultra is expected to remain limited to the Chinese market. However, we anticipate an improved version of the smartphone could make a global debut later this year.
