Redmi is reportedly working on multiple smartphones for various markets. While it is gearing up to unveil the Redmi 15 series globally, the Chinese market could be treated to the Redmi 15 lineup as well as the Note 15 series in the coming weeks.
Last week, upcoming Redmi phones with model numbers 2508CRN2BC and 25082RNC1C were approved by China’s MIIT certification platform. While the monikers of these devices are under wraps, the 2508CRN2BC device is believed to be the China variant of the Redmi 15C 5G. In a new development, China’s 3C authority has approved a new Xiaomi / Redmi phone with model number 25080RABDC. This device could be the forthcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro.
Purported Redmi Note 15 Pro 3C certified

The above screenshot reveals that the 25080RABDC device may ship with an MDY-17-EE charger that supports 45W charging. Unfortunately, there is no concrete evidence about the final moniker of the device.
To recall, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G came with support for 45W charging. Therefore, the 25080RABDC device could be the Note 15 Pro, retaining the same charging capabilities as its predecessor.
The alleged Redmi Note 15 Pro has also received MIIT certification last week in China. These developments suggest that the device may debut as early as next month (August) in China.
A recent XiaomiTime report revealed that the Redmi Note 15 Pro will also have other country variants with model numbers 25080RABDT, 25080RABDR, 25080RABDI, and 25080RABDG. It also mentioned that the device has the “fluorite” codename, and its internal code is P16U.
