
Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi Note 15 series of smartphones, which may launch in August in China. Recently, a Redmi phone bearing the model number 2510ERA8BC was approved by China’s 3C certification platform. The listing gave an hint about the fast charging capabilities of the device. Now, the same device has received approval from the country’s MIIT certification platform.

As can be seen, the Redmi 2510ERA8BC has bagged MIIT approval in China. While it hints that the device may launch soon, it does not reveal anything significant about its specifications.
The previously seen 3C listing of the device revealed that it may arrive with support for 90W fast charging. While there is no concrete information about its final marketing name, it could be the Redmi Note 15 Pro or Pro+ handset.
The said device is also expected to release in multiple markets outside of China. It has been found through IMEI database listings that there will be dedicated variants for markets like global, India, and Thailand. Additionally, the phone is also said to have a Poco variant for the global market.
In related news, Redmi is also said to be working on the Redmi 15 series of smartphones. The lineup is said to include multiple variants, such as Redmi 15 5G, Redmi 15C 5G, Redmi 15, and Redmi 15C. While premature retailer listings and leaks have already leaked some details of these phones, Redmi is only officially confirmed the existence of the Redmi 15 5G. Slated to debut on Aug. 19 in India, the Redmi 15 5G will feature a 6.9-inch LCD 90Hz display, a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip, a 7,000mAh battery with 18W reverse charging, and a 50-megapixel dual-camera setup.
