We have spotted two upcoming Redmi smartphones on certification platforms, including the Redmi Note 17 series with model number 26073RA49G on the EEC database and the Redmi K90 Ultra with model number 2604FRK1EC on China’s 3C certification website.

The EEC certification reveals that the model number 26073RA49G is associated with a Redmi-branded smartphone. While the listing does not confirm the exact marketing name, the model number pattern suggests that this device could be part of the upcoming Redmi Note 17 series.
As usual, the certification does not reveal any hardware specifications, but such listings typically indicate that a global launch could be approaching.
Redmi K90 Ultra Spotted on 3C Certification
In a separate development, another Xiaomi device with model number 2604FRK1EC has appeared on China’s 3C certification platform. This device is believed to be the Redmi K90 Ultra.

The listing confirms that the phone will support up to 100W fast charging, thanks to a bundled power adapter (MDY-18-EW).
Redmi K90 Ultra: What We Know So Far
According to previous reports, the Redmi K90 Ultra is expected to launch in April. It is tipped to arrive alongside the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, with both devices likely to share similar specifications. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which is said to feature a high-frequency prime core clocked at up to 4.21GHz, along with three performance cores and four efficiency cores. The chip is also expected to bring noticeable improvements in overall performance compared to its predecessor.
The Redmi K90 Ultra is also expected to pack a large battery, possibly between 8,000mAh and 8,500mAh, along with support for 100W fast charging, which is now confirmed via the 3C certification. The device could feature a high refresh rate display, reportedly going up to 165Hz, making it suitable for gaming and heavy usage.
Other rumoured features include a 1.5K LTPS display, a dedicated graphics chip, and an active cooling fan. The phone is also expected to come with stereo speakers, improved haptics, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 rating.
Xpert Take
The Redmi Note 17 series showing up on the EEC suggests that Xiaomi is preparing its next set of mid-range phones for global markets. While the listing does not reveal specifications, the timing indicates that the company could follow its usual launch cycle. The Note series has always focused on offering balanced performance and features, so expectations will be around incremental upgrades rather than major changes.
On the other hand, the Redmi K90 Ultra appears to be targeting a completely different segment. The 3C certification confirms 100W charging, and combined with earlier leaks about a large battery and high-end chipset, the device looks focused on performance and gaming. If Xiaomi manages to price it competitively, it could attract users looking for flagship-level features without paying a premium.
Overall, Xiaomi seems to be strengthening both its mid-range and performance-focused lineup at the same time. The Redmi Note 17 series could continue to drive volume, while the Redmi K90 Ultra may aim to build value in the premium segment.
