Redmi Pad 2 4G has received approval from the NBTC and TDRA certifications in Thailand and the UAE, respectively. This is not the first time the tablet has been spotted, as it has also appeared on other certification platforms, such as the FCC, 3C (China), BIS (India), and IMDA (Singapore).
Reports have revealed that Redmi Pad 2 will be available in two options: Wi-Fi-only and 4G. With multiple certifications under its belt, it appears that it will not take too long for the Redmi Pad 2 series to break cover. Here’s a look at the details that have emerged through the latest certifications of the Pad 2.
Redmi Pad 2 4G NBTC certified
- The above screenshots state that the Redmi Pad 2 4G with model number 2505DRP06G has received approvals from NBTC (Thailand) and TDRA (UAE) certification platforms.
- According to reports, the 25040RP0AG model number belongs to the Wi-Fi-only version of the Redmi Pad 2.
- While the Redmi Pad 2 series has received multiple certifications, these sightings haven’t revealed anything significant
- The Pad 2 lineup is expected to run on HyperOS 2.1 and support 33W fast charging.
- It will support connectivity features such as GPS, Bluetooth, FM receiver, 4G, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
- The rest of its specifications are yet under wraps.
The “2505” and “2504” in the Redmi Pad 2 model numbers suggest the devices were originally planned for a May and April launch, respectively. With May already halfway through, it now seems likely that the Redmi Pad 2 series could debut either later this month or sometime in June.
