Samsung is reportedly working on an affordable pair of TWS earbuds. Initial reports claimed that the device would be called the Galaxy Buds FE 2. However, the FCC certification of the device revealed that it will have the Galaxy Buds Core marketing name. The moniker has now been confirmed once again, thanks to its appearance on the UAE’s TDRA certification platform.

Apart from the FCC, the Galaxy Buds Core has also been approved by India’s BIS certification platform in the recent past. These certifications suggest that it may not take too long for the Buds Core to go official.

  • The above screenshot reveals that the Galaxy Buds Core, with model number SM-R410, has been approved by the UAE’s TDRA certification.
  • Unfortunately, the listing has no further information about the device’s specifications.
  • Previous certifications have revealed that the Galaxy Buds Core’s charging case carries the model number EP-QR410.
  • Earlier sightings also revealed that its charging case will feature a 500mAh battery, each earbud is said to include a 200mAh battery, and the pair will support dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0+.

Samsung is expected to hold a launch event in July to unveil new foldable phones, such as the Galaxy Z Flip FE, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Fold 7. The South Korean tech giant may use the same platform to announce other products. It remains to be seen whether the Buds Core will debut at the same event.
