In September 2025, Tecno unveiled a slim phone called the Tecno Pova Slim 5G, featuring a 6.78-inch display, a 5,160mAh battery, and 50-megapixel dual cameras. A new EEC certification now suggests that its camera-focused Camon series will soon get a Slim-branded variant. Here’s a look at what to expect from this device.
Tecno Camon Slim 5G EEC, Geekbench listings spotted

As seen in the listing, an upcoming Tecno smartphone with model number CN6 has appeared on the EEC certification database with the name “Tecno Camon Slim 5G.” Apart from the EEC, the device has also surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the Tecno Camon Slim 5G is powered by a MediaTek chipset. The SoC includes four performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz and four efficiency cores running at 2.00GHz. The metadata also confirms the presence of a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU.
These details suggest that the Camon Slim 5G could be powered by the Dimensity 7100 chipset. The listing further reveals 8GB of RAM and Android 16. In terms of performance, the device scored 997 in the single-core test and 2,950 in the multi-core test. Other specifications of the phone remain under wraps.
Xpert Take
The Camon Slim 5G appears to be Tecno’s attempt to blend design and performance within its camera-centric lineup. A slim profile paired with a capable mid-range chipset could appeal to users looking for both style and everyday usability. While its European launch seems almost confirmed thanks to the EEC listing, there’s no clarity whether it will be heading to India.
If Tecno positions this device competitively, it could attract buyers who want a lightweight phone without compromising too much on performance. However, camera hardware and optimisation will ultimately decide how well it stands out in the Camon series.
