
Tecno is setting the stage to unveil its Spark 40 lineup in July. However, ahead of the official launch, we have spotted the Spark 40 Pro smartphone from the series on the FCC and Carlcare service websites. It will succeed the Spark 30 Pro, which was launched in September last year.
Tecno Spark 40 Pro on FCC and Carlcare Service Websites
The device was spotted on the FCC and Carlcare service websites with the model number KM6. The FCC listing revealed that the device will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also showed that the phone will feature a 5,060mAh rated capacity battery and a 5,160mAh typical capacity battery.
Moreover, the FCC listing reveals the connectivity options. It supports 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks, including LTE FDD Bands 2/4/5/7/12/17/66 and LTE TDD Bands 38/41. For wireless connectivity, it includes dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth (BR+EDR+BLE), and NFC. The phone also supports GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and Galileo for location services, along with an FM receiver. It’s a dual SIM device, although only SIM1 was tested for network performance in the certification report.
The listing also includes a drawing of the device’s back, showing that the forthcoming Spark 40 Pro will feature a vertically aligned triple camera setup, with volume rockers and the power button located on the right side of the frame. It further reveals that the device will have approximate dimensions of 163.67 x 75.87 x 6.85mm.

On the other hand, the listing on the Carlcare service website confirmed the smartphone’s moniker. It also revealed that another storage variant will feature 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Tecno Pova 7 on NBTC Certification
We have also spotted the another upcoming Tecno device called Pova 7 on the NBTC certification website with the LJ6 model number. Unfortunately it didn’t reveal any specifications of the device.
Tecno Spark 40 Pro+ Chipset Revealed
The upcoming Spark 40 lineup is expected to include four devices: the standard Spark 40, Spark 40 Pro, Spark 40 Pro 5G, and the top-end Spark 40 Pro+. Among these, the company has already revealed that the flagship Spark 40 Pro+ will be powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio G200 chipset. It will be the first smartphone to feature this chipset, which is built on TSMC’s 6nm process and includes an octa-core CPU configuration comprising 2x Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 cores capped at 2.0GHz.
