Tecno has confirmed that it will announce the Spark Go 2 entry-level smartphone tomorrow (June 24) in India. Ahead of the launch, the device has appeared in the database of the Google Play Console. As usual, the listing has revealed the display resolution, chipset, RAM, and OS version of the device.
The Play Console listing reveals that the Spark Go 2 may have different monikers depending on the market. Here’s a look at the details that have emerged through the Play Console listing.
Tecno Spark Go 2 Google Play Console listing
- As per the Google Play Console listing, the Tecno Spark Go 2, which has the model number KM4, will be equipped with an HD resolution (720 x 1600p) screen.
- It is powered by a Unisoc (model number UMS9230e), which includes two Cortex A75 cores working at 1.8GHz and six Cortex A55 cores operating at 1.6GHz. For graphics, it is equipped with Mali G57 graphics that work at 850MHz.
- Therefore, it appears that the device is powered by the Unisoc T7250 (formerly known as Unisoc T615).
- The device runs on Android 15 and has 3GB of RAM.
- The rest of the specs of the Spark Go 2 are under wraps.
- The listing suggests that the Tecno Spark Go 2S also has the same model number and specs. At present, it is difficult to say what sets the 2S apart from the Spark Go 2.
- At the bottom of the above screenshot, the Tecno Pop 10 Pro with the same KM4 model number is mentioned as one of the variants of the Spark Go 2.
- Interestingly, the Pop 10 Pro was spotted with the KMK4 model number on Tecno’s CarlCare support site.
While it appears confusing, the Tecno Spark Go 2 series could be similar or identical to the Pop 10 series. However, these series could be made available to different markets or marketing channels.
