Vivo is preparing to launch the Vivo Buds Air 3 in several international markets. This is evident from the fact that the upcoming audio product has received certification in multiple countries, suggesting an imminent global release. Notably, the Taiwanese NCC certification has revealed the complete design of the earbuds. The listings also confirm that while this will be a new product for global audiences, it is already available in China under different names. Vivo Buds Air 3 bags multiple certifications

  • The TDRA certification in the UAE has approved the Vivo Buds Air 3, which bears the XE W35 model number.
  • The same device has also bagged approval from other certification platforms, such as SDPPI (Indonesia), NCC (Taiwan), Bluetooth SIG, and TUV Rheinland.
  • The TUV listing reveals that the Vivo Buds Air 3 charging case takes in 5V at 0.7A (3.5W) and outputs 5V to charge the earbuds.
  • The Vivo Buds Air 3 earbuds’ images that have surfaced through the NCC listing reveal that it will sport a semi in-ear design with short stems and dual microphones.
  • The charging case has a rounded, pebble-like shape with a glossy white finish and Vivo branding on the front. It has a USB-C port at the bottom.

Vivo Buds Air 3: What to expect?

  • Vivo is already offering the Vivo TWS Air 3 with the XE W35 model number in China.
  • A rebranded version of the same product with the iQOO TWS Air 3 (model number iXE W35) is also available in China.
  • Therefore, the Vivo Buds Air 3 heading to the global market could be a rebadged version of China’s TWS Air 3 and iQOO TWS Air 3.
  • Launched in May of this year, the Vivo TWS Air 3’s each earbud features a 12mm audio driver.
  • With the charging case, it offers up to 45 hours of battery life.
  • It comes with other features, such as dual-device connectivity, spatial audio, 44ms low latency for gaming, and an IP54 rating.

At present, there is no information about the Vivo Buds Air 3’s price for the global market. In China, the TWS Air 3 is available for CNY 99 (~$14).
