A Vivo phone with model number V2507A has received approval from China’s MIIT certification platform. This device was previously spotted on the country’s 3C certification website last month. At that time, it was thought to be the Vivo X Fold 5 foldable phone. However, the battery size revealed through the CMIIT certification suggests that it may not be a foldable phone but a different device.
Vivo V2507A could be Vivo’s largest battery smartphone
- As can be seen, the Vivo V2507A smartphone has received the CMIIT certification in China.
- The source code of the listing reveals that the V2507A packs a 7,840mAh rated battery. This indicates that the typical value of the phone could be around 8,000mAh.
- The Honor Power, which debuted in April this year in China, is the only other 8,000mAh battery phone from a mainstream brand.
- Unfortunately, there is no information about the device’s final moniker. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether it launches as a Vivo or iQOO smartphone.
- The previously seen 3C certification of the V2507A revealed that it may support 90W fast charging.
In the past few months, iQOO has launched the iQOO Z10 Turbo and Turbo Pro smartphones in China. While the Turbo edition features the Dimensity 8400 chip and a 7,620mAh battery, the Pro variant packs the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and a 7,000mAh battery. The Z10 series also includes the Dimensity 7300-powered iQOO Z10x and the upcoming Z10 (China variant).
According to reports, the iQOO Z10 will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It is also expected to support 90W fast charging. There’s a possibility that the V2507A could be the iQOO Z10. However, it is advisable to wait for further reports to confirm the final name of the V2507A before drawing any conclusions.
