
Vivo recently unveiled the Vivo X Fold 5 foldable phone in China. The brand has already released its first teaser in India and is likely to go official with the X200 FE compact phone. Apart from India, the foldable phone is expected to be released in multiple countries, including Thailand, where it has received approval from the NBTC authority.
The brand is also said to be working on the Vivo Buds Air 3 TWS earbuds. Last week, it was spotted on certification platforms like TUV Rheinland, Bluetooth SIG, SDPPI (Indonesia), and TDRA (UAE). Now, it has been approved by the SIRIM certification platform in Malaysia.
Vivo X Fold 5, Vivo Buds Air 3 bag new certifications
- The Vivo X Fold 5, which bears the model number V2429, has received NBTC certification in Thailand.
- On the other hand, the Vivo Buds Air 3 with model number XE W35 has been approved by the Malaysian SIRIM authority.
- Unfortunately, the new listings do not reveal anything significant about these products.
Vivo X Fold 5 key specifications
- The Vivo X Fold 5’s global version is expected to pack the same specs as its Chinese version.
- It features an 8.03-inch foldable screen, a 6.53-inch outer display, and a pair of 20-megapixel cameras on both screens.
- The rear camera setup has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS support.
- The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered foldable phone packs up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging support.
Vivo Buds Air 3 key details
- The Vivo Buds Air 3 is expected to be a rebadged version of the Vivo TWS Air 3 / iQOO TWS Air 3 available in China.
- Its key features may include a 12mm audio driver and up to 45 hours of battery life.
- It is also expected to offer dual-device connectivity, spatial audio, 44ms low latency for gaming, and an IP54 rating.
The Vivo X Fold 5 and X200 FE are expected to launch together this month. Likely, the Buds Air 3 may break cover during the same event.
