Vivo unveiled a wide range of Y21-branded smartphones across the globe in 2022. Some of the devices that are part of this series include the Vivo Y21, Y21s, Y21t, Y21a, Y21e, and Y21g. In a surprise development, a new certification reveals that the brand may launch yet another Y21-series phone in the coming days.

Vivo Y21d SIRIM, EEC, and CQC certified

The above screenshots show that a forthcoming Vivo smartphone with model number V2520 has received approval from certification platforms such as SIRIM in Malaysia, EEC in Europe, and CQC in China. None of these listings have revealed anything significant about the device’s specifications. However, the SIRIM listing has confirmed that the device will be called the Vivo Y21d when it hits the market.

In related news, Vivo is working on three new phones for the Indian market. On July 31, the brand will take the covers off the Vivo T4R, and it will be followed up by the Vivo Y400 4G’s launch on Aug. 4.

The company has started teasing the arrival of the Vivo V60 in India. The official teasers have confirmed that the device will feature a quad-curved OLED panel and a 6,500mAh battery. It will be available in three shades: grey, gold, and blue. It has already been spotted on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and Android 15. The TUV certification of the device has revealed that it may support 90W fast charging.

Speculations are rife that the Vivo V60 could be a rebranded version of the Vivo S30, which debuted in China a few months ago. Therefore, it is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a 50-megapixel front camera, and an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (3x periscope) triple camera unit.
