Xiaomi 16 series is in the works for multiple markets. Reports suggest that the lineup will first debut in China in September this year and later be released globally. The lineup for the Chinese market is expected to include the Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, and Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini. However, it is likely that the global market may be treated to the standard Xiaomi 16 only.

Now, in a new development, the EEC authority has approved what appears to be the Xiaomi 16’s global version. While it has received certification now, it may debut with the Xiaomi 16 Ultra next year.
