Poco F7 has received certification from the IMDA authority in Singapore. Reports have revealed that the brand will launch the Poco F7 in India and global markets. While the global version has just received IMDA’s approval, its Indian variant has not yet been approved by the BIS authority.
The F7 will be the third phone in the F7 series, which already includes the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra. The Pro and Ultra editions are equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Gen 3 Elite chipsets, respectively. It is likely that the F7 could be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. Here’s a look at what to expect from the F7
Poco F7 IMDA certified

- As can be seen in the above screenshot, a Poco phone with model number 25053PC47G has received IMDA certification in Singapore. The same device has been previously spotted on the EEC certification platform.
- A previously seen IMEI database listing of the Poco F7 revealed model numbers “25053PC47G” and “25053PC47I” for global and Indian variants, respectively.
- To recall, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro that debuted last month in China has the model number 25053RT47C. Since its model number is similar to the F7, it seems that the China-exclusive Turbo 4 Pro will be rebranded as the Poco F7 in markets outside of China.
Poco F7 specifications (rumoured)
- The Poco F7 is expected to feature a 6.83-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 1320Hz refresh rate.
- Under the hood, the device will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage.
- The Poco F7’s global version is said to feature a 6,550mAh battery, whereas its Indian edition could be equipped with a larger 7,550mAh battery. It is expected to support 90W fast charging.
- The F7 will feature a 20-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel (Sony LYT-600) primary camera, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
- It may come with durability features such as Gorilla Glass 7i protection for the display, a metal middle frame, and an IP68/69-rated chassis.
Poco F7 will succeed the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered Poco F6, which debuted for Rs 29,999 in May 2024 in India. The F7, with similar pricing, is expected to launch in India and other markets.
