
OnePlus Nord 5 series of smartphones is in the works. Reports have claimed that the brand may not launch the Nord CE 5 Lite model this year, but it is planning to launch the Nord CE 5 and Nord 5. These two devices are gradually receiving important certifications across different countries.
Recently, the Nord 5 was approved by the SIRIM certification of Malaysia, and now it has received approval from Singapore’s IMDA authority. On the other hand, the Nord CE 5, which was recently spotted at certification platforms like TDRA (UAE) and GCF, has now received new certifications.
OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE 5 bag important certifications
- The OnePlus Nord 5 with model number CPH2709 has appeared in IMDA’s database.
- This device was previously spotted at SIRIM and TUV Rheinland certifications.
- The TUV listing revealed that the device may house a 6,550mAh (rated value) battery and offer 80W charging.
- The OnePlus Nord CE 5, bearing the CPH2719 model number, has received SIRIM (Malaysia) and IMDA (Singapore) certifications.
- None of the recent certifications of the CE model has revealed its key specifications.
OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE 5 specifications (rumoured)
- The Nord 5 rumours suggest that it will have a 6.77-inch LTPS OLED 1.5K 120Hz screen, a Dimensity 9400e chip, and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging.
- On the other hand, the Nord CE 5 may pack a 6.78-inch OLED with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It may feature the Dimensity 8350 chip and a 7,100mAh battery with 80W charging.
- Both smartphones may feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system.
OnePlus is currently busy teasing the arrival of the OnePlus 13s, which is expected to launch either by the end of this month or early June. This suggests that the Nord 5 series may break cover by June end or in July.
