A new smartphone from POCO has appeared on the FCC certification website, bearing the model number 25078PC3EG. The listing reveals some key specifications of the device, suggesting that the upcoming smartphone is most likely a budget offering.

According to the listing, the new POCO smartphone will run on Xiaomi HyperOS 2.2 and support 33W fast charging. It also provides a glimpse of the front panel, which features a notched display.

Furthermore, the smartphone offers a wide range of connectivity options. It supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G bands, including LTE Bands 4/5/38 and LTE Bands 66/26/41. For wireless connectivity, it includes dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), Bluetooth, and NFC. The device also features PIFA antennas for both WWAN and WLAN. With this comprehensive set of bands and wireless support, the phone appears to be geared for strong global network compatibility and fast, reliable wireless performance.

However, this isn’t the first time the smartphone has been spotted. A POCO device with the same model number was previously listed on the EEC certification website.

There is a possibility that this POCO phone could be a rebranded version of the Redmi 25078RA3EL, which has also cleared FCC certification with identical specifications.

Unfortunately, there is no clarity yet regarding the final marketing names of these smartphones. However, the “2507” prefix in their model numbers suggests that these devices could be scheduled for launch in July this year.
