The Oppo Reno 15 Pro leads the series with a strong focus on display quality and camera performance. It features a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Reno 15 Pro sports a 200MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom with optical stabilisation. A 50MP autofocus camera handles selfies. The device packs a 6,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging and runs Android 16-based ColorOS 16. Oppo is promising five years of Android updates and six years of security updates.

The Reno 15 Pro Mini brings the same camera hardware and chipset in a smaller body. It features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. While the battery is slightly smaller at 6,200mAh, it still supports 80W fast charging. Weighing 187 grams, the Pro Mini is aimed at users who want flagship-grade cameras without a large or heavy phone.

Xpert take

The Reno series remains one of Oppo’s best-selling smartphone lineups, and the introduction of four distinct models highlights how strategically important it is for the brand. However, there is a possibility that the Reno 15 lineup could impact sales of the flagship Find X9 series, which starts at Rs 74,999. Rising memory and chipset costs have also pushed mid-range smartphone pricing higher, bringing the Reno 15 series uncomfortably close to Oppo’s premium Find X9 range.

That said, the Reno series has long helped Oppo build trust and familiarity among buyers, many of whom may eventually upgrade to the higher-end Find lineup. Within the Reno 15 family, the Pro and Pro Mini clearly stand out for users who prioritise premium photography. The standard Reno 15 delivers a well-balanced mix of camera performance and everyday usability, while the Reno 15C is best suited for buyers seeking maximum battery life with fast charging at a more accessible price point.
