Vivo has a busy schedule ahead for the Indian market. Multiple upcoming phones, such as the Vivo V70, Vivo V70 Elite, Vivo T5x, Vivo X200T, and Vivo X300 FE, have received approval from the BIS certification platform in India. Among these, the X200T is already being teased in the country and is expected to launch in the last week of this month.
Next could be the Vivo V70 series, which is expected to debut in February in India. The lineup is said to include multiple models, such as the V70 Lite, V70, V70 FE, and V70 Elite. However, only the V70 and V70 Elite are expected to hit the Indian market. Here’s a look at what to expect from these phones.
Vivo V70 specifications, price (expected)

The rumour mill is yet to leak concrete details about the Vivo V70, but it is said to retain the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, which was introduced on the Vivo V60. Apart from this, the device is expected to feature a 6.517-inch display and arrive in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, both offering 256GB of internal storage.
The V70 is expected to cost around Rs 45,000 in the country. It may arrive in shades such as red, black, gold, and yellow.
Vivo V70 Elite specifications, price (expected)
The Vivo V70 Elite is expected to feature the most powerful Qualcomm chip seen on a V-series phone. This suggests that the device could be a rebranded version of the Vivo S50, which was announced in December 2025 in China.
Expected to be priced at Rs 50,000, the Vivo V70 Elite may feature a 6.59-inch OLED screen delivering a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. For photography, it may feature a 50-megapixel camera with autofocus support on the front, while the rear could include a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom.
The Vivo V70 Elite is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, paired with LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging support. The entire V70 series is expected to run on Android 16 with a layer of OriginOS 6 on top.
Xpert Take
Vivo is currently leading the Indian smartphone market, and it appears that the brand is not leaving any stone unturned to maintain its position. With the upcoming V70 series expected to be priced between Rs 45,000 and Rs 50,000, Vivo is ensuring that versatile phones are available at different price points. Rumours suggest that the X200T will cost around Rs 55,000, while the Vivo X300 FE could be slightly more expensive, and the existing X300 series starts at Rs 75,999. Coming back to the V70 lineup, the V-series has always performed well for Vivo, and the upcoming V70 and V70 Elite look promising enough to strengthen the brand’s position in the premium mid-range segment.
