Google is currently mum about the existence of the Pixel 10a, a mid-range phone that will sit below the standard Pixel 10. However, the rumour mill is actively spilling details about this phone. In the latest development, while AndroidHeadlines has carried an official-looking render of the Pixel 10a, reliable tipster Arsen Lupin has shared key details about its variants, price, and release date.

The tipster revealed that the Pixel 10a will hit the market on Feb. 17. He further mentioned that its 128GB and 256GB editions will cost 499 euros and 599 euros in Europe, respectively.
At present, the rumour mill is yet to leak the Indian pricing of the device. The phone will be sold in multiple colours, such as Obsidian Black, Berry, Fog, and Lavender. The brand will be selling matching coloured cases for 20 euros in Europe.

The above image shared by the publication gives a good look at the Pixel 10a’s Obsidian Black version. It is quite evident from the image that there is no major change in its look as compared to last year’s Pixel 9a. Even in terms of specifications, the company is unlikely to offer any major upgrades, as revealed by recent reports.
Reports suggest that the Google Pixel 10a will have a 6.28-inch OLED screen delivering an FHD+ resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Running on stock Android 16, the device is expected to draw power from the Tensor G4 chip and a 5,100mAh battery with 23W fast charging.
The Pixel 10a’s rear camera setup is said to feature a 48-megapixel main camera with OIS support, accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, it will have a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. These core specifications are also available on the Pixel 9a.

The Pixel 10a design does not see a major upgrade because Google has stated that it will use the same design for three generations of its Pixel phones. As a result, users can expect a new design with the Pixel 12, arriving in 2028. Even in the specifications department, no major upgrade is expected. It is likely that the phone may instead offer a better photography experience by relying on AI-based improvements. With no major hardware upgrades anticipated, the Pixel 10a is expected to mainly appeal to Pixel loyalists.
