Motorola is reportedly working on the Razr 70 series of flagship phones. It appears that its arrival may not be far away, as both the Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra have been approved by the TDRA certification platform.
Motorola Razr 70 TDRA certified

As can be seen above, the Motorola Razr 70, bearing the model number XT2657-8, has been approved by the UAE’s TDRA certification platform. The same authority had previously approved the Razr 70 Ultra with the model number XT2655-1.

Apart from TDRA, the Razr 70’s same variant has also been approved by the EEC authority. Earlier this month, reliable tipster Evan Blass revealed that model numbers XT2657-1, XT2657-2, XT2657-3, XT2657-4, XT2657-V, and XT2657-8 all belong to the Razr 70. These model numbers are likely meant for different markets, with the V variant meant for Verizon.
Based on previous release patterns, it can be speculated that the Razr 70 could be rechristened as the Motorola Razr 2026 in the US. Unfortunately, the rumour mill has not revealed any of the core specifications of the device. Likely, the Razr 70 series will debut within the first half of the year.
In related news, Motorola is also gearing up to launch the Edge 70 Fusion in the coming days. Reports have revealed that it will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, a 7,000mAh battery with 68W charging, a 32-megapixel front camera, a Sony Lytia 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, and an IP68/69-rated dust-resistant and waterproof body.
