
Asus has announced pre-orders for its latest AI-focused laptop portfolio in India, led by the Zenbook S16 and Zenbook 14 alongside several new Vivobook models. The new laptops feature AMD Ryzen AI 400-series processors with integrated neural processing units (NPUs) designed to accelerate on-device AI workloads.
According to the company, the lineup includes the Zenbook S16 (UM5606GA), Zenbook 14 (UM3406GA), Vivobook S16 (M3607GA), Vivobook 16 (M1607GA), Vivobook 15 (M1502NAQ), and Vivobook 16 (M1605NAQ). The devices target different user segments ranging from professionals and creators to students and general consumers.
The flagship Zenbook S16 features an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor paired with a 50 TOPS NPU for AI-assisted workflows and Copilot+ PC functionality. The laptop weighs about 1.5 kg and uses a 1.1 cm thin chassis with a 16-inch 3K OLED display supporting 120 Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision. Asus also claims up to 23 hours of battery life alongside Dolby Atmos speakers and security features such as Microsoft Pluton.
The Zenbook 14 is positioned as a more portable alternative. It runs on the AMD Ryzen AI 5 430 processor with similar 50 TOPS AI acceleration capabilities. The laptop weighs approximately 1.28 kg and includes a 14-inch OLED touchscreen display with HDR support, along with productivity features such as a Copilot key and NumberPad 2.0.
Asus has also expanded its Vivobook lineup with multiple AI-enabled models. The Vivobook S16 includes AMD Ryzen AI 400-series processors and an OLED display, while the Vivobook 16 (M1607GA) features a Ryzen AI 7 445 processor paired with MIL-STD 810H durability certification. Meanwhile, the Vivobook 15 and Vivobook 16 (M1605NAQ) focus on mainstream performance using Ryzen 7 processors and DDR5 memory support.
The Zenbook S16 starts at ₹1,69,990, while the Zenbook 14 starts at ₹1,15,990. The Vivobook lineup begins at ₹62,990. Pre-orders for the Zenbook models are currently open, with sales scheduled to begin on February 12 across Asus online and retail platforms. The Vivobook 16 (M1605NAQ) is expected to become available starting in early March.
As part of a limited-time offer, Asus is providing additional warranty and accidental damage protection benefits valued at ₹5,599 for select Zenbook models through a redemption program following purchase.
