Samsung Launches Bespoke AI Water Purifier With Built-In Ice Maker

Samsung just announced its latest AI-powered water purifier, the Bespoke AI Ice Purifier. Its USP is that it is a two-in-one device that combines an ice maker with a water purifier. You can also get both hot and cold water from this purifier. It’s a familiar Samsung move: take a routine household product and enhance it with smart features and design touches that make it feel more intuitive and connected.

Bespoke AI Ice Purifier Features

The device comes with a four-stage filtration setup along with NSF certification. Samsung says that its system targets bacteria, microplastics, and heavy metals like lead, mercury, and chromium. It filters out dozens of contaminants before the water is ready to use. In countries like India, where water sources vary wildly, from borewell to tanker to municipal supply, trust in filtration is still the biggest selling point. Samsung is clearly leaning into that anxiety, positioning the purifier as something you don’t have to second-guess.

But as I said, the product’s USP is the ice maker. The Bespoke AI Ice Purifier can produce up to 1,000 cubes a day and keep about 100 on standby. If you are having a party at home, this feature will be a hit. The South Korean tech giant also says that the internal pipes are sterilised using an electrolysis process every few days, with UV treatment protecting the dispensing area and automated cleaning cycles for the ice tray. And this is a good edition, as people often forget to clean their appliances.

You also get a bunch of smart features. It supports voice command through Bixby. You can easily set the water quantity or temperature without even touching the panel. It can even recognise different voices and store personal presets. Say, a precise pour for pour-over coffee or a hotter setting for instant noodles.

Through SmartThings, you can even adjust the settings remotely, monitor usage, and access up to 20 saved routines. There’s also a touchscreen on the front for quick controls, reminders, and basic info widgets.

Bespoke AI Ice Purifier Price

While the global prices are yet to be announced, the Bespoke AI Ice Purifier has been launched with a price tag of KRW 2.3 million in South Korea, which is roughly $1,650 or about Rs 1,50,000. This clearly puts it in the luxury segment. So this isn’t aimed at the mass market. It’s meant for buyers who see appliances as part of a smart-home ecosystem and are willing to pay extra for automation, aesthetics, and peace of mind.

From an industry POV, Samsung’s launch reflects a larger shift. Today, appliance makers are trying to turn essential home appliances into intelligent, connected platforms that promise better hygiene and less manual upkeep. In theory, AI can help predict filter changes, track usage patterns, and keep systems cleaner without human intervention. How much of that translates into reality, we will have to wait and see.
