Philips has launched the OneChef, a new smart kitchen appliance designed to simplify everyday cooking. Announced through a launch event in Mumbai, the device combines several cooking techniques into a single system built around air fryer technology. With OneChef, Philips plans to make multi-step cooking more convenient for home kitchens.
Philips OneChef combines multiple cooking techniques in one appliance

The Philips OneChef is designed as a multi-purpose cooking appliance that integrates 33 cooking functions into a single device. It can perform several techniques commonly used in Indian kitchens, including air frying, stir frying, steaming and boiling. By bringing these functions together in one appliance, the product aims to reduce the need for multiple kitchen devices while helping users handle complex recipes more easily.
At the centre of the appliance is Philips’ AmbiHeat technology, which focuses on controlled temperature management and even heat distribution. The system adjusts heat levels during different stages of cooking so that dishes maintain consistent taste and texture. This approach is particularly helpful for recipes that require precise heat control across multiple steps.
The appliance also includes guided cooking programmes and simple controls intended to make the cooking process easier for everyday meals as well as elaborate dishes.
As mentioned above, the Philips OneChef was unveiled at a Mumbai event titled “Chef’s Tasting Table”, curated by chef Ranveer Brar. The gathering included live cooking demonstrations featuring dishes from different regions of India.
Brar and Gulbahar Taurani, managing director and chief executive of Versuni India, showed how the appliance can handle multi-step recipes more efficiently while maintaining traditional flavours.
The Philips OneChef is priced at Rs 19,995 in India and will be available from March 19 through major retail stores and online platforms.
