
Asus has introduced the Chromebook CX15 in India, bringing a new ChromeOS laptop with built-in Google AI features to students, first-time buyers and professionals. The launch also marks the company’s first push into offline Chromebook retail sales in the country. The Asus Chromebook CX15 starts at ₹47,990 and is available through the Asus eShop, Asus Exclusive Stores, ROG Stores, authorised retail partners and Reliance Digital.
The Chromebook CX15 runs ChromeOS and comes with Google’s AI tools built in for everyday tasks such as writing, research, presentations and collaboration. Buyers also receive a three-month Google AI Pro membership, which includes access to Gemini across Google apps, 5 TB of cloud storage, Google Flow for AI-assisted video creation, advanced Google Photos editing tools, Nano Banana image generation and YouTube Premium Lite. Asus is also offering 0% no-cost EMI plans starting at ₹3,999 per month, along with a one-year standard warranty and one year of accidental damage protection.
The laptop features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS NanoEdge display with 300 nits of brightness, an anti-glare finish and an 87% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the Intel Processor N50, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of eMMC storage. Asus claims the Chromebook can deliver up to 12.5 hours of battery life and includes a 45 W USB Type-C charger in the box.
Weighing 1.59 kg, the Chromebook CX15 meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards. It also includes a Titan C security chip, automatic ChromeOS security updates and a physical webcam privacy shutter. The laptop comes in a Pure Grey finish inspired by traditional Japanese washi paper, while Asus says recycled materials have been used as part of its design.
