Grand Theft Auto VI may not have received a third trailer or an official pre-order announcement yet, but one European retailer appears to have jumped the gun. Italian retailer Showgame has listed GTA 6 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at €69.90 each, making the upcoming Rockstar title cheaper than many current big-budget console releases priced at around €79.99.
The pricing is notable because GTA 6 has long been surrounded by speculation about whether Take-Two and Rockstar could push beyond the standard AAA console price. For now, though, Showgame’s listing points in the opposite direction. That said, this should not be treated as official pricing until Rockstar or Take-Two confirms it.
The retailer’s listing also shows a November 19, 2026 delivery date, which lines up with the currently listed release timing for the game. The PlayStation Store still lists Grand Theft Auto VI as “Announced” with an option to add it to the wishlist, rather than a pre-order button.
Demand already appears strong. According to the Showgame listing, the PS5 version is now marked as sold out, while the Xbox Series X version was still available with limited stock at the time of writing. The speed at which the PS5 listing disappeared is striking, especially given that this happened through a regional retailer rather than a major storefront such as PlayStation Store, Amazon or Best Buy.
The early listing follows recent rumours that GTA 6 pre-orders could open around May 18, with reports pointing to retailer and affiliate-related signals ahead of Take-Two’s earnings call on May 21. However, Rockstar has not made a formal pre-order announcement so far, and earlier reports have also urged caution around the May 18 date.
GTA 6 will be the first mainline entry in the series since GTA 5, which launched in 2013. The new game returns to Vice City and stars Lucia Caminos alongside Jason Duval, marking the first time the series has placed a female protagonist in a lead role. For now, Showgame’s listing is best read as an early retail signal rather than final confirmation of GTA 6’s price, but if the €69.90 figure holds, Rockstar’s biggest release in more than a decade may arrive at a surprisingly conventional price.
