Honor X80 Pro Max China Telecom listing

Honor X80 Pro Max is set to debut on June 22 in China. Ahead of the launch, the brand has been gradually revealing its key specifications. In the latest development, the phone has been prematurely spotted in China Telecom’s product library, revealing all of its core specifications before the official announcement.

Honor X80 Pro Max specifications

The Honor X80 Pro Max’s China Telecom listing has revealed that it features a 6.8-inch display, which has been officially confirmed to support a 1.5K resolution and 10,000 nits of peak brightness. For photography, it has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel rear camera.

It will be the first phone to feature the recently unveiled Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. It will arrive in the Chinese market in multiple configurations, including 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 8GB+512GB, and 12GB+512GB. Buyers will be able to choose from colour options such as Moonlight White, Vibrant Orange, Lightning Red, and Mystic Black.

The X80 Pro Max will run on MagicOS 10-based Android 16. It will house a huge 11,000mAh battery, which has been officially confirmed to support 90W wired charging and 27W reverse charging. The device will measure 162.2 x 77 x 8.08mm and weigh around 203 grams.

Xpert Pick

Honor has been consistently increasing the battery capacity of its smartphones. What’s impressive is that despite packing larger batteries, the brand has managed to keep the thickness and weight of these devices relatively slim and manageable. If Honor were more active in India, it could have emerged as a strong rival to brands such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, and Realme, especially in the premium mid-range and flagship segments.

Coming back to the Honor X80 Pro Max, its reported 11,000mAh battery suggests that the industry is pushing battery capacities to new heights. The device could encourage other smartphone makers to follow suit and launch phones with similarly large batteries. OnePlus and Poco have already introduced smartphones with 9,000mAh batteries in some markets, and devices featuring even bigger batteries are expected to arrive in India over the coming months.
