So far, Realme has launched a couple of 16-series models in different markets. These include the Realme 16, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro+. Now, the brand seems to be gearing up for the launch of the Realme 16T. The device has received an important certification, hinting that its launch is close.
Realme 16T 5G bags NBTC certification

In March, reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav revealed the existence of the Realme 16T 5G. At that time, he claimed that the device has the model number RMX5268. In the same month, the device appeared in the database of India’s BIS certification platform, and now it has been approved by Thailand’s NBTC authority.
As seen above, the Realme 16T with model number RMX5268 has surfaced in the NBTC database. While the listing does not reveal anything significant, it does confirm the moniker for the first time.
According to Yadav, the Realme 16T will be available in three variants: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. It will be offered in shades like Starlight Red, Starlight Black, and Aurora Green. The rest of its specifications remain under wraps.
Xpert Take
Last year, Realme positioned the Realme 15T lower than the Realme 15. In India, the Realme 16 is available with a starting price of Rs 31,999. Therefore, it is likely that the 16T may enter the Indian market with a sub-Rs 30,000 price. This positions the device as a strong contender in the competitive mid-range smartphone segment.
While the Realme 16T appears to be an entry-level model in the 16 series, it remains to be seen whether the brand plans to add more models. Rumours suggest that the brand is also working on the Realme P4R with model number RMX5266. The similarity in model numbers suggests that the P4R may share some similarities with the 16T.
