HP has announced the launch of the HyperX OMEN 16 VALORANT Limited Edition gaming laptop in India, marking what the company says is its first VALORANT-themed gaming laptop for the country. The new model is the latest product to emerge from HP’s ongoing partnership with Riot Games and targets competitive players looking for both high-end gaming performance and themed aesthetics.
The laptop features a custom VALORANT-inspired design with game-themed color accents, a customized keyboard, and hidden Easter eggs throughout the chassis. Under the hood, it can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX 16-core processor alongside an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU with 8 GB of VRAM. HP says the system is designed to deliver responsive performance in competitive titles.
Other notable specifications include a display option with up to 2.5K resolution, a 240 Hz refresh rate and a 3 ms response time. The laptop also features the HyperAction keyboard with an 8,000 Hz polling rate and OMEN AI optimization, which automatically adjusts hardware and game settings on a per-title basis, including for VALORANT.
HP says the device was developed to reflect the competitive nature of VALORANT while extending the company’s collaboration with Riot Games beyond gaming peripherals. Riot Games also stated that the partnership aims to bring the game’s visual identity and design philosophy into dedicated gaming hardware.
The HyperX OMEN 16 VALORANT Limited Edition is available in India starting at ₹2,24,999 through the HP Online Store, HP World outlets, select retail stores, Amazon, and Flipkart.
