Redmi K Pad will launch today in China, but it appears that the brand could already be prepping for its global launch. The reason behind this is that its global version has emerged in the database of the IMDA certification platform in Singapore. Redmi K Pad IMDA certified
- A new Xiaomi device with model number 25079RPDCG has bagged IMDA certification.
- The Redmi K Pad heading to China has the 25079RPDCC model number. Therefore, it appears the 25079RPDCG device is the global version of the K Pad.
- At present, there is no clarity on whether the tablet will be called K Pad or something else when it hits the global market.
- Apart from the K Pad, new Xiaomi devices with model numbers 25097RP43G, 25091RP04G, and 25099RP08G have also surfaced. The numbers “2509” hint that these devices may debut in September globally.
- It should be noted that the 25099RP08G model is a Poco-branded tablet.
- At present, there is no information about their final monikers.
Redmi K Pad specifications
- The Redmi K Pad has an 8.8-inch LCD panel that supports a 3K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.
- Built for gaming, the device is equipped with the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset and a 7,500mAh battery with 67W charging.
- The tablet is expected to ship with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
- It also features dual x-axis linear motors, dual speakers, and dual USB-C ports.
The Redmi K Pad will be priced at around 4,000 RMB in China. It will be available in shades like Smoky Purple, Spruce Green, and Deep Black.
