The OnePlus 15 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated flagship smartphones of 2025. Building on the success of the OnePlus 13, which launched earlier this year, the upcoming device is expected to push the boundaries even further in the premium flagship segment. From certification listings to early leaks, here’s everything we know so far about the OnePlus 15.

Past reports suggested that the Chinese variant of the OnePlus 15 carries the model number PLK110. This device has already surfaced on China’s 3C certification platform as well as on Geekbench. Earlier this month, a OnePlus phone with the model number CPH2747, believed to be the OnePlus 15’s global edition, was spotted at TUV certification. The listing showed support for 120W charging, fuelling speculation that it could indeed be the OnePlus 15, although the final marketing name was not revealed at the time.

That mystery has now been cleared. The SIRIM certification in Malaysia has now confirmed that CPH2747 corresponds to the global version of the OnePlus 15. Additionally, a well-known OnePlus enthusiast has claimed that the global edition may also be linked to CPH2745 and CPH2749, though these model numbers have yet to appear on any certification platform.

The Chinese variant of the OnePlus 15 recently appeared on Geekbench, confirming key details about its hardware. According to the listing, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM, and will run on Android 16 out of the box. In terms of performance, it registered an impressive 3,709 points in the single-core test and a remarkable 11,000 points in the multi-core test.

Earlier this month, OnePlus also announced the end of its long-standing collaboration with Hasselblad. Instead, the upcoming flagship will debut the company’s in-house imaging platform, called the DetailMax Engine. However, the brand has not yet disclosed any further technical details about the OnePlus 15’s camera setup or software features.

OnePlus 15: Early Roundup of Rumours

According to leaks, the OnePlus 15 will feature a BOE X3 flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. While this marks a downgrade from the 2K panel on the OnePlus 13, the successor will compensate with support for a 165Hz refresh rate. On the software front, the global edition is expected to run OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, while the Chinese version will ship with ColorOS 16.

The device is rumoured to sport a triple 50-megapixel camera setup on the back, though the exact sensor details are still under wraps. Powering the device could be a 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W or 120W wired charging, as well as 50W wireless charging.

What to Expect Next

Since the OnePlus 15 is tipped to debut in late October in China, official teasers and confirmations from the company are expected in the coming weeks. For the global market, certification appearances across platforms like the FCC, Bluetooth SIG, BIS (India), SDPPI and TKDN (Indonesia), and IMDA (Singapore) will likely provide further confirmation.

With the OnePlus 13 launching in January 2025, the global debut of the OnePlus 15 is expected around the same time in early 2026.
