There have been reports that the OnePlus Watch 4 will be a rebranded version of the Oppo Watch X3, which debuted in March in China. The Play Console listing of the Watch 4 reveals that it is powered by the Snapdragon W5 chip and 2GB of RAM.

While the chip’s name is not mentioned directly, the details like Qualcomm SD439, which includes 4 x ARM Cortex-A53 cores and Adreno 504 GPU, are enough to confirm the inclusion of the said chipset. The exact screen size is not mentioned, but it supports the same 466 x 466 pixels resolution as the Watch X3, which suggests that it may feature a 1.5-inch display.

The OnePlus Watch 4 Google Play Console listing reveals a silver variant with a green band. There are rumours that it will also have a dark grey variant featuring a dark blue band. Reports surrounding it suggest that it will run on WearOS 5.0 and pack a 646mAh battery. These details suggest that it will be a rebadged version of the Oppo Watch X3.

Xpert Take

The OnePlus Watch 4 appears to be a promising smartwatch with strong specifications. Considering it may be a rebranded version, the device is also expected to feature a titanium case, eSIM support, sensors for tracking ECG, heart rate, and wrist temperature, along with 5ATM and IP68/69 durability ratings.

OnePlus is yet to officially confirm the Watch 4’s existence. Currently, it is teasing the arrival of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered OnePlus Pad 4, which is set to go official on April 30 in India. The appearance of the Watch 4’s Play Console listing suggests that its launch is imminent, and it remains to be seen whether the brand announces it alongside the Pad 4. While OnePlus unveiled the Watch 3 globally last year, its India launch was skipped. Therefore, there is no certainty whether it will be released in India.
