Colorful has unveiled the Rimbook L1 Plus, a new lightweight laptop powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 7735HS processor. Aimed at students, professionals and creators, the laptop combines a 16-inch 2.5K display, 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 512 GB PCIe Gen4 SSD in a 1.4 kg chassis. The company has announced a starting price of RMB 5,999, although regional availability has yet to be confirmed.
The Rimbook L1 Plus is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor with eight cores, 16 threads and boost speeds of up to 4.75 GHz. It also features integrated Radeon 680M graphics, 16 GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory and a 512 GB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. Users can further expand storage through two PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 SSD slots. The laptop packs a 65 Wh battery and supports USB Type-C Power Delivery charging.
The laptop sports a 16-inch IPS display with a 2,560 × 1,600 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also offers 100% sRGB colour coverage, 300 nits of brightness and a claimed 92.52% screen-to-body ratio with slim bezels. According to Colorful, the display is designed to provide additional workspace for productivity and colour-accurate output for creative work.
Running Windows 11 Home, the Rimbook L1 Plus comes with WPS Office pre-installed for document, spreadsheet and presentation editing. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, measures 16.65 mm thick and weighs 1.4 kg. Colorful has not yet announced availability outside China and says local pricing will vary by region.
