Each year, Google holds a launch event in the second half of the year to unveil new Pixel devices. This year too, the brand is expected to announce the Pixel 11 lineup, including a new foldable phone. Like last year, the company may also unveil a new smartwatch, which will likely be called the Pixel Watch 5 when it reaches the market. The new Pixel devices are expected to go official by the end of August. Ahead of the anticipated launch timeframe, what appear to be Pixel Watch 5 variants have emerged in the database of India’s BIS certification platform.
Google Pixel Watch 5 BIS certified

As seen in the certification listing, new Google devices bearing the model numbers G0F3Y, G1XJ6, G25QD, and GFW3R have appeared on the BIS platform. These could represent different sizes, as well as Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants of the Pixel Watch 5. However, it is still too early to determine exactly which model number corresponds to each version. Therefore, it is advisable to wait for additional reports to learn more about the Pixel Watch 5.
While there are currently no reports detailing the Pixel Watch 5’s specifications, a prototype of the smartwatch was reportedly discovered in the Atlantic Ocean. Randy Pitchford, co-founder of Gearbox Software, shared images of the alleged device on his X profile and revealed that it features a round display similar to the previous-generation model.
The markings on the back of the Watch 5 revealed a few details, including a 45mm case size, a heart rate sensor, a pulse sensor, a skin temperature tracker, SpO2 monitoring, a UWB chip, and an IP68 ingress protection rating. Another interesting detail is that the Watch 5 may feature a Tensor chip instead of the Snapdragon processor found in previous generations.
Xpert Take
Google is not known for introducing major upgrades from one generation to the next. If the Pixel Watch 5 does arrive with a Tensor chip, it may not bring many other significant changes compared to the Pixel Watch 4.
Even if the Pixel Watch 5 is unveiled globally by the end of August, it could arrive in India a few months later, similar to the Pixel Watch 4, which went on sale in November 2025. At launch, the Watch 4 was priced at Rs 39,990. The successor could enter the Indian market at a similar price point.
