OnePlus Turbo 6X series specifications, images revealed

The images of the OnePlus Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro show that these devices feature a minimalist design. While the Pro edition looks like a toned-down version of the OnePlus 15 in terms of styling, the 6X variant has a vertical camera setup on the back.

On the specifications front, the Turbo 6X is the lower-end model, equipped with a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD panel that reportedly supports a 144Hz refresh rate. It is said to be powered by the Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset. It features a 7,000mAh battery (6,830mAh rated value), paired with 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM variants, and 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of built-in storage.

On the other hand, the OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution and is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. Under the hood, it will have an 8,000mAh battery (7,820mAh rated value), along with 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB of RAM options, and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage variants.

For photography, the Turbo 6X has a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup, whereas the Turbo 6X Pro features a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel camera system. These devices are equipped with 8-megapixel and 16-megapixel front-facing cameras, respectively. While the 6X features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, the Pro version comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. Like other OnePlus phones in China, the Turbo 6X series is expected to run on ColorOS 16-based Android 16.

Xpert Take

OnePlus’ Turbo-branded smartphones have remained exclusive to the Chinese market. Therefore, the Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro are also expected to remain confined to China. These devices are not rebranded versions of the Nord CE 6 Lite and Nord CE 6 available in India.

At present, there are no major mid-range OnePlus phones expected for the Indian market. A couple of months later, the brand may unveil the OnePlus 16, which is expected to be a significant upgrade over the previous generation, particularly in the photography department.
