Global versions of the upcoming Vivo X500 series are consistently getting spotted at different certification platforms. In a new development, the X500 has bagged a couple of new certifications, indicating that its launch is drawing near. Here’s a look at the details that emerged through the IMDA, SIRIM, and TÜV listings.
Vivo X500 IMDA, SIRIM, TÜV certified
As can be seen in the above screenshots, a new Vivo smartphone with model number V2619 has appeared in the databases of IMDA, SIRIM, and TÜV certifications. Among these, the SIRIM certification confirms that it will be called the Vivo X500 when it arrives in the market.
The X500’s IMDA listing confirms support for usual connectivity features, such as 5G, WLAN, Bluetooth, and NFC. Coming to the TÜV listing, it reveals that the device will have support for 90W fast charging.

So far, reports have revealed plenty of details about the Vivo X500. This device will have a 6.59-inch OLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution and may feature a Dimensity 9500-series chip. It may draw power from a 7,500mAh battery and support 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
The X500 will run on OriginOS 7-based Android 17 and feature a 50-megapixel front camera. Its back panel is said to feature a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel Sony LYT-610 periscope telephoto camera.

As mentioned above, Vivo X500 series models have been consistently bagging multiple certifications. These new listings only hint that the global launch may not be far away. Last year, the Vivo X500 series went official in December in India, but this year’s X-series may break cover early, probably in November.
At present, Vivo is currently silent on the X500 series’ global launch. Most probably, the brand may unveil the Vivo X Fold 6 first, which has been approved by the BIS authority recently. Hopefully, upcoming reports will shed more details about the brand’s plans for the Indian market.
